The Grandparents

During term time I live away at University and in the final few years of my engineering degree, along with other commitments such as the photo-society it has been hard to make regular visits back home. Whenever I do visit home (trip takes about an hour and 45) its nice to try and see as much of the family (bear in mind we’re Greeks) as possible.

This was a quick tea visit to the grand parents.

Grandma who was delighted Me, my sister and Mum had come to visit. She suffers from dementia and whilst she confuses who we are, her love for us shines through. She was so excited in fact it was extremely hard to get this shot, she kept clapping and singing!

After trying to shoot gran for a while, my grandad walked in as if he was ready for his picture, so, I got them a shot together. The photo in the background is from my parents wedding.
