USSU Photo Society – GIAG (Give It A Go) session
I ran the studio lighting part of the photo societies “Give It a Go” session where we invited non society members as well as members along to get a feel for what its like shooting with studio equipment and in a studio environment.
Other shoots included a still life shoot using lighting you can find around the house and freezing and capturing water droplets using off camera flash as well as playing with how reflections change the scene.
The shots below were taken by the attendees and given some post production attention by me :). A big thank you to all of our models on the evening, amazingly professional throughout, which, at times was tough !
All photos were taken with the Nikon D3000 entry level SLR and kit lens as a demonstration of modern camera equipment not being a limitation.
