Strobist Practice – Playing Catchup (Andy Pye)

Although these photos were taken a very long time ago, never had the chance to do more than copy them off the card at the time. I had since largely forgotten about them. Even without processing they served their purpose of learning through practice.

Both Andy and I wanted some practice with ‘on the spot’ lighting set-ups. So, after a quick scout of the foyer we decided on some photo ideas then lit them in turns.

Some worked, some didn’t, but given this site is a journal of sorts, I’ve included the not so great shots that might have potential with different execution / context.
